Compliance 2.0 is Over. Compliance 3.0 has begun.

In some ways, the field of ethics and compliance has been a child growing towards adulthood. The 80s and 90s saw the compliance as a reactive and protective entity (Compliance 1.0). Then it transformed into an adolescent focused on efficiency and learning to do what it already knows even better (Compliance 2.0). Now, ethics and compliance is nearing adulthood (Compliance 3.0) and the measure of success is effectiveness.
